HM's Birthday and drawing for $100 in points

It's Heritage Maker's 5th birthday. To celebrate I am having a drawing for all current and potential clients.  If you are a current client you must upgrade your Club HM membership to qualify or become a host or consultant.

Summer Scrapbooking Class!!!

Makenna and I will be teaching Summer scrapbooking classes at Barnes & Noble this summer. The flyer below gives some of the details. Please read the fine print below the flyer. Oh and I forgot to add the dates. They are June 20th - July 27th.

Cost of class includes your subscription to Club HM which doesn't include tax. As a member of Club HM you will pay $30 per month for a minimum of 3 months. HM will deposit 40 points into your account each month. If you are a current Premier member you will have 50 points deposited into your account. My current Club HM members will not be charged for this class. All class members will pay their own shipping charges when you finish your projects and have them sent to you.

During this class you will learn to use the HM studio editor. You will create 1 post bound album and 20 scrapbook pages to fill it. I will have templates for all 20 pages. You may also choose to create your pages from scratch.  YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP and a pad of paper to take notes if you would like. Free WiFi will be provided by the bookstore.

This class will cover some basic tips for beautiful and creative design. It is open to scrapbookers of all ages and genders, however, children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Got my purse free!

My Miche bag Party went really well. I had over a thousand in sales and I was able to get the free purse I wanted that is big enough to hold a couple of my larger Heritage Makers books. I carry them with me to show them off all the time. I love my books! Anyway, thanks to all who came and helped me get so much for free! My girls thank you too. 

Spring Fever at Miche!!!

I know this has nothing to do with Heritage Makers but I am in love with these purses. They are called Miche Bag. They are purse bases with interchangeable outer shells. So you never have to transfer all the "Junk" in your purse when you change the purse. Now I just change the outer shell and I feel like I have a whole new purse. I get bored quickly and have to change my purse a lot. I rotate a bunch around. Anyway, I am hosting a party on the 26th and I wanted to post a link for you to see them and order one if you like them. I will pay to ship it to you if you buy from my party and you aren't close enough for me to bring it to you.

February Publishing Challenges

I have been publishing like crazy lately and I LOOOOVE it all! So for the first months challenge I am going to give you a couple challenges. Click on the challenge link to open the full project previews. 

CHALLENGE #1 = Make a Valentine's Day or Love card and publish it!

CHALLENGE #2 = Make a project to decorate your home or a give as a gift for someone else's home.  

This is a poster that will measure 10x24 inches. I will be adhering this to a piece of wood, adding nails below the names and then laminating and hanging the tags below each name. Can't wait to get it back in the mail. My kids have been asking for a chart so I decided this was a priority for me this month. This is still a work in progress so I don't have all the right pictures yet. And there is no link yet since it is not completed.

CHALLENGE #3 = Publish any size hard bound storybook. Here is my family yearbook for 2009.
